About the founders

CYRIL RAYAN & JEMIMA RAYAN

Cyril and Jemima are cofounders of ‘The Potter’s Ministries,’ a Christian non- profit organization. They are also founding pastors of ‘The Blessing’ Church based in San Jose, CA. which is an Assemblies of God church.

The vision for the Blessing is to see a transforming revival in the Bay area.  Both Cyril and Jemima are part of the National Prayer Committee.  God has given them a passion to raise up intercessors, equip the Body of Christ for the work of the ministry and to add souls into God’s Kingdom. Their book, ‘Heal our Land’ emphasises the importance of intercession to see the revival we so desperately need in America and in the nations of the world.

Cyril was instrumental in starting Bible based Kids Clubs in the city of Milpitas, CA which is an after-school program focused on evangelising and discipling the public-school students.  He served as an Associate Professor at Bethany University teaching principles of marketing, leadership and management courses.  He worked as an adjunct professor at William Jessup University and Jubilee Bible College where he taught leadership courses. He is the author of an award-winning leadership book, ‘Moving from Vision to Reality’, which defines seven steps to make your God given vision a reality. Several ministries have been launched through his seminars and teachings. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Pastor Jemima Rayan is a reverse-missionary to America.  When she was about start her corporate carrier in the Bay area, the Lord called her into His ministry full-time much like Peter, the disciple who left behind the fish, his net and his boat.  She left her career as an Engineer to answer the call of God in the year 1999. She is an intercessor, author and speaker. She speaks in seminars and conferences focusing on equipping the Body of Christ for the work of the ministry. Her book, ‘Experiencing the Holy Spirit’ has helped many to get a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and to grow in their walk with the Lord. She also hosts a monthly women’s event called, ‘The King’s Bride.’ Many have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and have grown in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

She hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Components of the Potter's Ministries

1. Intercession

Transform Communities Prayer:
Prayer warriors from coast to coast in the USA join together in our daily intercessory prayers over a teleconference bridge from Monday to Friday. We have Adults, youth and children stand in the gap and pray for revival in America.

Prayer Ride:
Our brothers gather together every month, drive to a location of influence to intercede for our local communities. They drive to places like educational institutions, Shopping Malls, Churches, corporations and city halls.

Prayer and Fasting:
Our intercessors pray and fast every week over a teleconference bridge. Once a month we join hands with the believers in the Bay area and pray in one accord. We pray and fast as church family too.

Lighthouses:
These are home groups meant for edification and godly fellowship. In the Lighthouses, we have intercessor prayer time, sharing of the Word, testimony time and prayerfor one another. God has blessed us with very committed people.

2. Evangelism

Outreaches:
During Easter and Christmas, we share the gospel in our community. Many have been Our ongoing outreaches have touched an transformed many.

Bible and Christian Literature Distribution:
We have distributed thousands of Bibles so far to kids from non Christian homes, public schools, home, restaurants and apartment complexes.

3. Equipping

Seminars and Annual Conferences:
Our ‘Family Seminar’ is a one day seminar that is focused on building strong families. We host three conferences. ‘Transformation Anointing Conference’ is focused on helping people receive the power of the Holy Spirit. ‘Transformation Intercession Conference’ is focused on gathering believers to intercede for revival in America. ‘Youth Leadership conference is focused on bringing revival among youth.

Monthly Women’s Event:
The King’s Bride is an event to equip women for the work of the ministry. Many women and children gather together every month to hear the word of God and receive a fresh anointing.

Publishing:
Books and music albums are published and released to bless the Body of Christ. Every year we publish a customized Prayer Calendar as a tool for intercessors to pray for America

Speaking Engagements:
Both pastor. Cyril and sister. Jemima receive invitations to speak in churches and ministries to equip God’s people in the U.S. and beyond.

4. Mission Projects

At least ten percent of the ministry income is used to bless our community and our Nation of America. As the Lord leads us, we help servants of God, ministries, churches and people in need financially

5. Church

The Blessing Church is a house of prayer for all people. There are daily Prayers, Weekly Prayers and Monthly Prayers. Our Children and Youth ministries help this generation to grow in the ways of the Lord. Our Monthly Tamil Services have been a blessing to many.

Freewill Offering

We share the gospel in our community on a monthly basis. During Easter and Christmas seasons, special outreaches are planned. Our ongoing outreaches have touched and transformed many. Hundreds of bibles are distributed to children, youth, and adults.

Heal Our Land

America is at a cross roads, but we have a remnant that is walking with the Lord. Our problems of insurmountable national debt, natural disasters like hurricanes and forest fires and moral and spiritual decline cannot be solved by human wisdom.

We need God to intervene, we need revival. This book paints a picture of the moral decay in America on the seven mountains of culture namely, Government, Education, Church, Media, Arts & Entertainment, Business and Family. This moral decay is like a spiritual drought. Then the book goes on to share how we can see the revival we so desperately need in America, to heal our land from this spiritual drought.
